The Opelousas Love Project is pleased to announce the annual Opelousas Love Fest returns on Saturday, April 18th. This is a free community event for local families, sponsored in partnership with the Sunrise Rotary, People of Action, and the City of Opelousas.
Bring your family, bring your friends, and even bring your neighbors out to celebrate love, peace, and happiness for a day of community with live entertainment, fun activities, vendors from local organizations, food, Bingo and much more, all provided at no cost!
The Festival will begin at 10am. and ends at 4 p.m. A range of activities will be available modeled along the lines of a fun festival, company picnic, and church family day. Be sure to stop at each vendor tent for fun activities, helpful resources for families, a good meal, and much more.
Parking: No vehicles will be permitted along the North Park boardwalk. This will be a pedestrian walkway only. Parking will be available at the old North Elementary campus or IGA parking lot next to St. Landry Catholic Church. The IGA parking lot will have a shuttle service to the Love Fest grounds from 9am to 4pm.
