The primary focus of Kiwanis is community service with a strong emphasis on children and youth — from direct hands-on service to long-term program support and advocacy. The focus of Kiwanis is one that resonates strongly with our values to help improve the community!
The Kiwanis Club of Opelousas puts on fun community projects such as the Trick-or-Treat Trail and Breakfast with Santa to offer fun opportunities for families to come out in their community! But they do so much more than just that. Ongoing projects and programs support the youth and encourage their future education through Kiwanis Kids and scholarships!
Join MacaroniKID Acadia-St. Landry at the 3rd Annual Opelousas Kiwanis Banquet Gala and support this mission by shining the light with an investment in the community. The Banquet Gala is the perfect opportunity to meet the movers and shakers in the Opelousas Kiwanis Club, learn more about the projects implemented to fulfill their mission of improving the lives of children in our community.
